★ First complete limited edition
★ 2-disc picture vinyl version
The second release out of the Boot Camp Clik family, released during the Golden Era of Hip-Hop in 1995. Smif N Wessun's "Dah Shinin'" 2XLP Picture Vinyl is now available in a completely limited production run!
Tek & Steele, the 2 MCs who made a name for themselves when they were featured on Black Moon's "Black Smif-N-Wessun" and "U Da Man". Keeping the momentum going, the Beatminerz' Evil Dee & Mr. Walt, who are also DJs for Black Moon, gathered together for this first and definitive 90s classic! As the Roy Ayers-inspired artwork suggests, the band continues to focus on floating jazz and funk sampling, but with a rougher, deeper Beatminerz bass that's sharp and low, smokey and mellow! The debut single "Bucktown" and "Let's Git It On" lead the way, followed by a series of smokey classics like "Wrekonize" and "Sound Bwoy Bureill". The original 16 tracks on the original version, plus two additional bonus tracks, including "Headz Ain't Redee," an album-unreleased song by Black Moon + O.G.C. + Heltah Skeltah = Boot Camp completes this 18 track 2XLP.
